Jorvik is back for 2024!

Jorvik is back! Join us on 28th and 29th October for a Halloween- and Viking-themed weekend of swing and joy! There will be three workshops and two social dances, featuring some fantastic teachers from across the country. You're welcome regardless of your current ability; the Raiders stream is perfect for beginner dancers and the Beserkers stream is ideal for intermediate dancers.

Streams

  • Berserkers

    This is the intermediate stream! It's perfect for those who have a bit more experience dancing, and maybe have been going to some weekend festivals. You are comfortable on the social floor, and have started playing around with different rhythms and moves. This stream is for those who have started thinking about musicality and want to improve their overall technique whist expanding their repertoire

  • Raiders

    This stream is for beginners! Perfect for those who have just started dancing recently, especially in the last few months or so. You may have already attended some lessons this year and are comfortable with the basic footwork and want to start getting more comfortable on the social dance floor as well as exploring some new rhythms and moves!
